How can such a people exist among the technological and speed-filled lives of those around them? These six lessons will take you on a fascinating trip down the back roads of these people. Beginning with the history and religion of the Anabaptists, we eventually settle into several sessions with the Amish traditions alone. There will be plenty of discussion and lots of questions surrounding these people who seem to live lives filled with riddles. The author of this course also wrote an intriguing book titled Driving the Back Roads: The Amish in the World but Not of It. This 180 page paperback covers the same topics but in more detail.
