The word “angel” appears more than 300 times in the Bible. It means messenger which is certainly a fitting description for the work that they do. Angels are indeed a fascinating topic since they appear repeatedly in Scripture in so many different ways. We teach our children that God’s angels are watching over them as they sleep. We know they protect us in our daily routines. But who are they? When were they created? What are they like?
