Jeremiah said that he feasted on God’s words, and he considered them a necessary part of his daily diet. Family devotions were once a daily routine in many Christian homes. Since the entire family could enjoy them after the evening meal, they were enjoyed by all. Times have changed. But do this with gentleness and respect.” These devotions have been carefully written to arm our children with God’s Word, and to build a firm foundation on which they can stand as they grow older and are increasingly confronted with Satan’s lies.
My years as a Christian school teacher, principal, and children’s author have clearly shown me the tremendous need there is for helping the next generation to grow in faith—a generation that will need to be armed and ready to face a world intent on destroying their faith. I pray that these 333 devotions will further acquaint your children with the love we find in our Lord Jesus Christ!
